Release Notes: Client Portal Template Now Available
A new template to streamline client communication, file sharing, and project milestones—all inside Notion.
I'm excited to announce the newest addition to the shop: the Client Portal Template. This one came directly from customer requests. Freelancers wanted a way to share project updates, files, and timelines with clients without juggling emails, Google Drive, and Slack.
The template is a single Notion page that you duplicate for each client. It includes a project overview section, a file repository with drag-and-drop uploads, and a status tracker. Clients can view the page via a shareable link (no account needed) and leave comments on specific items. You control what they see by toggling permissions.
I've been using a beta version with three clients for the past month. One client said it 'finally made project tracking feel collaborative instead of messy.' The template is fully customizable, so you can add your branding or remove sections you don't need. It's available now in the library—instant access, lifetime updates. Let me know how you use it.
